Qualification details/ Course overview
  • This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of entry level Business Services job role.
  • This qualification also reflects the role of individuals who have not yet entered the workforce, and are developing the necessary skills in preparation for work.
  • These individuals carry out a range of basic procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require self management and technology skills. They perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Individuals in these roles generally work under the direct supervision.

Entry requirements

Though the training package does not stipulate any entry requirements, ACTB uses the following criteria for entry into this qualification:

  • Completion of year 12 or equivalent.
  • Aged 18 +, IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.
Qualification and recognition

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded the nationally recognised qualification, a BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills.

Program

This program requires the completion of 10 units of competency.
Total: 5 core units and 5 elective units.

Assessment methods

Assessments/Evidence-gathering techniques may include:

D. Written assessments, Report, Essay, Research and Group Project

Students may be required to submit video presentations and third party reports to authenticate some of their practical work. They may also be required to participate in an oral interview at their course end of the course.
