Course Overview

This nationally accredited training course aims to equip students with a range of knowledge, skills, and competencies to support them in gaining employment in applying blockchain technologies within an existing or new organisation.

The course explores how to develop modern, disruptive business models that utilise blockchain to create value & efficiencies; analyse technical & non-technical aspects and limitations of blockchain and prepare businesses for transitioning operations to a blockchain network.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking strategic or management roles within organisations who are developing or transitioning business models/systems to incorporate blockchain technologies.

Entry requirements

Though the training course does not stipulate any entry requirements, ACTB uses the following criteria for entry into this course:

  • Aged 18+
  • IELTS 5.5 or equivalent English proficiency
  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent

It is also recommended that candidates considering this course have vocational experience at management level. If the candidate does not have vocational experience at the recommended level, they must be able to demonstrate an understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, basic business planning methods and the ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) – interview may be required.

International students

For international students on a student visa, this course is delivered as Classroom-based training.

Total course duration: up to 108 weeks (Tuition: 80 weeks; Holidays: up to 28 weeks)
Number of hours per week: 20 hours
Class timetable: Classes may be held between 9am-5pm, Monday-Thursday (excluding public holidays). Students are advised of their class timetables at the beginning of each term.

For domestic students and international students who do not require a student visa, this course is available as an Online study program, allowing you to start anytime and self-pace your study to suit your lifestyle and work commitments.

As a general guide, we recommend completing this program within 18 months to 2 years of enrolment, however you may wish to complete your studies sooner.
